Main Floor Framing

February 21, 2006 - Today we finished the joist framing above the crawl space and then placed the OSB decking over it. 

At the end of the day we have completed the deck at the crawl space and we are moving to the deck above the basement over the next few days.

Main Floor Framing has begun!!!

February 20, 2006 - The main floor framing of the house has begun.  Between the regular snow and the "Thunder Snow" we have started the framing.  First the main floor of the house is placed on the foundation.

The floor framing is an engineered floor joist and it sits on an engineered beam.  We will run all the floor joist and then place the decking material.

We also have our "oasis" on wheels at the site.  This not only is our storage trailer but its the lunch and meeting room!

Basement and Crawl Space Slabs

February 3, 2006 - The concrete has been poured in the basement and the crawlspace and looks great!

Next step is the floor deck framing.

Hot Water Heat - Rough In

January 27, 2006 - The hot water heat lines will be poured into the slabs of the basement, crawlspace and garage.  The lines are ran over the insulation board.

There is mesh in the garage slab to add reinforcing for the concrete and vehicle weight.

The foam has been cut to fit to the footings that we have in all areas.
