April 13, 2003 - Finish Trim: We have started the finish trim on the cottage. This is where alot of the detail starts to take place.
The siding is also started. The cedar window trim is around the entry side of the house only.
The Mantel is complete and looks great. It will be caulked and painted when the finish painting starts.
The bridge railing is almost complete. There are two more sections to be completed.
The handrail posts are built up of solid wood to give the vertical lines to the space. There will be a small cap trim placed on the top of them.
The vinyl shake siding is in and we are underway The first step is to place the corner and window trims. Siding to begin on Monday.
The exterior will be completed next week weather permitting.
